Eastern Dairy Solutions was established in early 2006 with the aim to supply the dairy industry with an efficient, fast and reliable service, fitting and servicing new and existing plants, platforms, electrical and dairy automation throughout Southland and Otago.

Jarrad Scott, Manager of the Gore branch, says "In early 2010 we assessed our client base in the South Otago region and decided the best way to service our existing customers was to open a second branch in Balclutha."

EDS currently employs 24 staff based in both Gore and the new branch in Balclutha. E.D.S is a member of the M.P.T.A and is the only dairy fitting company to be ISO9002 accredited.
